Political analysts in Washington and Kentucky predicted Matt Bevin would lose. Yet, DMSC’s advertising for the Republican Governors Association’s $6 million dollar  media campaign eroded the positive image of Democrat Jack Conway. Our ads defined Conway’s support for radical environmentalists and their anti-coal policies, a high tax agenda and his unwillingness to stop Obamacare as Attorney General. Despite the Bevin campaign spending only $1.3 million dollars on advertising, Bevin rode the RGA’s media campaign to a 9% upset victory.
